Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Planning Leader in the United States to drive end-to-end planning transformations across the plant and to lead the adoption of standard planning processes. You will guide cross‑functional teams and advance the Schneider Performance System to deliver measurable business results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in operations or planning leadership, with a proven track record in transformation, change management, and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management.
• Proven experience leading transformation and process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong project management skills including planning, execution, resource management, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading change management efforts and driving successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Ability to define project objectives and translate business goals into actionable plans.
• Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive alignment across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Customer and stakeholder‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and adoption of standard planning processes across end-to-end activities.
• Manage transformation projects ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around shared goals.
• Coach planning teams on standard methodologies and best practices.
• Drive Schneider Performance System (SPS) within the planning function by establishing improvement objectives, monitoring progress, and ensuring sustainable results.
• Establish planning standards, governance processes, and key performance metrics to improve consistency and operational effectiveness.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including service levels, lead times, forecast accuracy, project milestones, and operational performance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks to maintain momentum and ensure successful outcomes.
• Develop and execute transformation roadmaps focused on critical improvements and measurable business impact.
• Partner with Planning Managers, Plant Leadership, and Transformation Leaders to drive change management initiatives and address performance gaps.
• Leverage digital tools and technologies to improve planning visibility, project execution, collaboration, and decision-making.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, innovation, and best‑practice sharing across the organization.
