Job summary

Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Timekeeper to compile employees' time and production records, review timesheets, and enter hours into payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have industrial timekeeping experience, be proficient in Google Workspace and Excel, and understand payroll requirements; JD Edwards or Enterprise One (E1) experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Timekeeping experience in industrial settings preferred.
• Payroll, accounting and/or bookkeeping experience required.
• Industry or minimum 2 years related experience.
• Experience in JD Edwards or Enterprise One (E1) a plus.
• Experience with Track Software is a plus.
• Must have prior industrial or equivalent timekeeping experience.
• Must pass a timekeeping test (general knowledge of payroll requirements and daily/weekly time calculations).
• Must pass a credit and criminal background check.
• May be required to work periodic overtime.
• Should be detail oriented and organized.
• Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews timesheets for completeness and analyzes hours for accuracy.
• Enters hours into payroll system following company guidelines.
• Maintains recordkeeping as mandated.
• Possibly enters data into multiple source areas and allocates hours with cost coding.
