Job summary

NOVA Construction Management in South Florida is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on industrial and commercial TI projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and on-site activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5+ years of field construction experience in industrial or commercial sectors, with 2-3 years as a superintendent or lead foreman for a GC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• 2-3 years as a superintendent or lead foreman for a GC.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Procore, email, and basic digital documentation (photos, daily logs).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily field operations for TI projects.
• Develop and maintain short-interval look-ahead schedules with the PM.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to keep work flowing.
• Enforce jobsite safety plans and OSHA/NOVA requirements.
• Conduct daily jobsite walks to monitor quality and progress.
• Maintain daily reports, photos, and documentation in Procore.
• Resolve field conflicts through coordination with architects, engineers, and PMs.
• Support punch list execution and project turnover.
