Job summary

You will prepare quotations and act as the technical liaison across customers, sales, engineering, estimating, purchasing, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in applications engineering, product engineering, process engineering, or related industrial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related business apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and quote technically sound, commercially competitive solutions for standard and customer-specific thermal applications.
• Interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, process requirements, and terms to identify requirements.
• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers, reps, and sales engineers throughout quotation and order process.
• Coordinate quotation, sample, approval drawings, and order-entry activities with cross-functional teams.
• Apply knowledge of customer applications and markets to recommend optimal thermal solutions.
• Determine material, labor, tooling, testing, and related cost requirements in collaboration with teams.
• Manage pricing and margin targets for key accounts and new business opportunities.
• Evaluate manufacturability, technical risk, lead time, and compliance before finalizing proposals.
• Use ERP, CRM, product configuration, or quotation tools accurately.
