Job summary

Augment Professional Services is seeking an Industrial Technician to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems. This role ensures production efficiency, safety compliance, and reliable machinery in daily operations.

You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and collaborate with engineers and production teams. Strong hands-on skills with tools and safety training are essential; PLCs and automation experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience as Industrial Technician or Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLCs and automation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and electrical components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Mentor junior technicians when needed.
