Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis, LLC (MD&A) seeks a Technical Training & Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver technical training for turbine-related manufacturing, maintenance, and repair. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to build scalable learning solutions aligned with safety and quality standards.

You will create classroom, on-the-job, and e-learning programs, develop curricula for technicians, engineers, and supervisors, and manage onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical training programs and curriculum for manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of turbine generator parts, systems, and equipment.
• Deliver classroom, on-the-job, and e-learning solutions, and build structured training pathways for technicians, engineers, and supervisors.
• Create onboarding and apprenticeship programs; coordinate subject matter experts to deliver content.
• Develop manuals, SOP-based modules, job aids, and videos; maintain and update content to reflect procedures and standards.
• Leverage LMS to assign, track, and report training completion; report KPIs like time to competency and safety trends.
• Partner with operations, safety, quality, and engineering to ensure training aligns with business goals and safety standards.
• Assist leadership development initiatives tied to technical capability and foster a culture of continuous learning.
