Job summary

The Waste Water Technician role at Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC in Joliet, IL oversees daily tank wash operations under the Terminal Manager, ensuring safety and environmental compliance while supporting efficient servicing. You will work with dispatch and tank cleaners to optimize resources and uphold quality standards.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DHEC regulations for the pump & haul permit.
• Meet daily boiler test requirements per Total Clean and DHEC.
• Coordinate tank equipment cleaning with dispatch and cleaners.
• Maintain contact with internal/external customers via email/phone.
• Report safety and performance issues to management.
• Oversee safety at the Tank Wash and related processes.
• Read plans, lists and guidelines; apply timelines accordingly.
• Duties may change at any time with or without notice.
