Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an experienced Industrial Superintendent in North Attleborough, MA to lead on-site construction activities for industrial projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and drive projects to completion, while maintaining schedules and quality.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in industrial construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of means and methods, OSHA regulations, and CM software.

Job Details

The Industrial Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities and serve as the primary field leader for industrial construction projects. This individual will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and driving projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily field operations on industrial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews.
• Develop and maintain short-term work plans that support overall project schedules.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct routine safety meetings, site inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and client representatives.
• Monitor productivity, workforce planning, and construction sequencing.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize schedule impacts and project risk.
• Oversee quality control efforts and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates.
• Manage commissioning activities, punch-list completion, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction Superintendent experience, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, heavy commercial, or process facility environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading field operations on complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Working knowledge of industrial safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades in active operational facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and digital reporting tools.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
