Job summary

Loenbro is seeking motivated and safety-focused Structural Welders to support projects in Kemmerer, Wyoming. This role involves structural steel welding, fabrication, fitting, and installation in an industrial construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have SMAW and FCAW experience, be able to read blueprints, and perform outdoor work at heights in a fast-paced setting. This year-long project offers hands-on craft work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' structural welding experience.
• Experience performing SMAW and FCAW welding.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Structural steel fabrication and installation experience.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Work at elevated heights with scaffolding and aerial work platforms.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding utilizing SMAW and FCAW processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specs, and steel plans.
• Fabricate, fit, assemble, and install structural steel components.
• Complete field installation and welding per project specs.
• Produce welds meeting AWS standards and project requirements.
• Conduct visual weld inspections and identify deficiencies.
• Layout, prep materials, cut, fit, and assemble.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, orderly condition.
• Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and craft professionals.
• Adhere to safety requirements and communicate concerns.
• Identify safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
