Job summary

Loenbro is seeking experienced Fab Shop Pipe Welders for our Casper Fabrication Shop. You will fabricate, fit, and weld pipe spools and related assemblies for industrial projects, performing GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welds per approved procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum three (3) years of pipe welding experience in fabrication/shop or related industries.
Proficiency in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes.
Experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipe.
Ability to read isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
Knowledge of welding codes, quality standards, and fabrication practices.
Ability to pass a pre-employment weld test.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, fit, weld, and assemble pipe spools and related assemblies in a shop.
Perform high-quality welds using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) per procedures.
Read isometrics and fabrication drawings for weld prep.
Verify fit-up, dimensions, alignment, and weld quality.
Select welding consumables and materials per project specs.
Inspect welds for codes, specs, and customer standards.
Operate fabrication and material-handling equipment safely.
Assist in training welders and apprentices.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow EH&S policies.
