Job summary

Young Love LLC, a leading design/build contractor, is seeking a Structural Engineer in Sioux City, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering and three years of experience in reinforced concrete design, along with an active FE license and intent to gain a PE license.

The role includes working with senior engineers on structural design projects and offers a competitive compensation package, including a 401(k) plan and paid continuing education.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with reinforced concrete design.
• Active FE license/EIT designation with intent to obtain PE license.
• Familiarity with IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC documents.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with Senior Structural Engineer(s).
• Design deep foundations, mat foundations, and slipform concrete structures.
• Interact with engineers and project managers on design documents.
