Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company in Willoughby, OH, is seeking an Industrial Stringlight Assembly Technician to build rugged stringlight assemblies for jobsites nationwide.

You will read CAD-driven work instructions, gather components, and begin staking and terminating electrical sockets to spec. With hand and power tools at the ready, you will route cables, inspect units, log labor in ERP, and maintain a clean, safe workstation. Overtime options apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Six months of related skills/experience (preferred).
• Mechanical assembly aptitude and comfort with power tools.
• Proficient in mechanical assembly and have a High School diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assemble stringlight components using hand tools, power tools, small presses, and fixtures.
• Manipulate cables and conductors; stake and terminate electrical sockets precisely to specification.
• Inspect, test, and fine-tune completed units to align with drawings, tolerances, and order requirements.
• Record labor time and quantities in the ERP system.
• Follow engineering documentation, including CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.

Industrial Stringlight Assembly TechnicianLocation: Willoughby, OH, USA day in this roleYou clock in and review the production schedule for the day. After a quick touch-base with your lead, you head to your station to build rugged stringlight assemblies used on jobsites nationwide. You read CAD-driven work instructions, gather components, and begin staking and terminating electrical sockets to spec. With hand and power tools at the ready, you route cables, verify connections, and prepare harnesses for overmolding. As units come off your bench, you inspect, test, and adjust to ensure every assembly meets tolerance and customer requirements.
