Synthomer is hiring a Steam/Pipefitter at our Jefferson Site, about 15 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA. You will perform site-wide pipefitting duties, follow stringent safety rules, and work with various materials and piping systems.

Qualifications include a PA driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and journeyman credentials. Effective communication and the ability to work indoors/outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid PA Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Follow plant safety rules and procedures (LOTO, hot work, confined space, chemical handling).
• Safely operate steam and pipefitting hand tools for pipe fabrication.
• Read and interpret piping schematics, boiler system drawings and specs.
• Assemble plastic, fiberglass, steel pipe sub-assemblies; weld where required.
• Maintain records and keep areas tidy; show initiative with minimal supervision.
• Possess ability to read safety rules and equipment manuals; operate a forklift if needed.
