Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Steam/Pipefitter for their Jefferson Site, located about 15 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves installing and maintaining piping systems, welding to ASME B31.3, and rigging with safety as the top priority.

You will follow strict safety protocols, read piping diagrams, and perform brazing and soldering as required. The pay rate is $43.00/hour, with comprehensive global benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman papers or equivalent education.
• Ability to wear a respirator and remain clean-shaven.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety rules (LOTO, hot work, confined space, chemical handling).
• Assemble piping sub-assemblies using hand tools for various materials.
• Perform quality welds on ASME B31.3 process piping and read schematics.
• Solder and braze copper/steel piping; disassemble, repair or rebuild valve assemblies.
• Maintain legible records and keep work areas clean and organized.
