Job summary

LALA U.S., Inc in Dallas, TX seeks a dedicated maintenance technician to diagnose and repair boiler and utility systems, with emphasis on preventative and predictive maintenance. You will work under the Utilities Supervisor, ensuring compliance and safe operation of ammonia-related equipment in a demanding plant environment.

The role requires read-and-interpretation of diagrams, ability to operate CMMS, and readiness to perform overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; refrigeration training preferred.
• RETA certification a plus.
• Current City of Omaha Third Grade Boilers license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, P&IDs and technical manuals.
• Experience with boilers and air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and prevent malfunctions in equipment.
• Pump-out, dismantle, assemble, and install utilities machinery during repair/expansion.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance on assigned systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tests and manuals.
• Maintain regulatory documentation for ammonia systems under supervision.
• Operate utilities systems and adjust sequencing for proper operation.
• Document tasks in paper logs or CMMS (Eptura).
• Share pass-down notes via Teams.
• Support operations team via calls.
• Remove hazards and maintain company property.
• Support facility maintenance activities as assigned.
• Paint buildings, curbs, railings, fences, and equipment.
• Complete minor repairs like doors, locks, gates, fences, handrails.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, signage, and basic components.
• Assist with carpentry, painting, and upkeep projects.
