Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must pass a pulmonary fit test to meet safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with industrial painting techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces by removing grease, dirt, and contaminants using solvents and water.
• Select and mix coating liquids to match colors and specs.
• Pour liquids, connect spray guns to air hoses, adjust spray width and pressure.
• Apply primers and finishing coats with even coverage for quality finishes.
• Remove rust from metal surfaces using grinders and brushes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Operate overhead cranes and monorail paint hoists to position items.
