Qualifications

• No minimum education required.

• Must adhere to all safety rules and requirements, including proper use and fit of respirators and other personal protective equipment.
• This may include maintaining a clean-shaven face at all times due to OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
• Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel.
• Ability to climb or balance.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk or hear.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop orders for correct paint color and options.
• Apply paints, lacquers, or enamels using spray equipment; ensure checks and final inspection.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and equipment.
• Move product in/out of paint booth using monorail.
• Prepare surfaces for painting as required.
• Comply with environmental policy and health/safety guidelines.
• May perform masking and two-toning and operate drying equipment.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Attend educational workshops and stay current with industry publications.
• Contribute to team projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Correctly read and interpret shop orders for correct paint color and options

• Utilize airless and/or conventional spray equipment for application of paints, lacquers, or enamels to metal surface where medium quality finish is required; ensure work assignments pass process checks and final inspection

• Maintain and keep equipment and area in a safe, clean condition and working order

• Utilize automated or manual monorail for moving product in and out of paint booth

• Clean and maintain, on a daily basis, equipment used in the paint booth

• Utilize hoist, cranes, and lift tables

• Prepare surfaces for painting as required by cleaning or other methods as required

• Comply with all company environmental policy

• May do masking and two-toning and operate drying equipment

• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

The pay range for this position is $15.77 - $22.66/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
