Responsibilities

• Set up equipment per print specs and work instructions; adjust setup as needed
• Perform daily/weekly operator equipment maintenance
• Operate iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma and more
• Use gauges to perform quality checks on parts
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine operations
• Drive forklift and maintain certification
• Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables to load/unload material
• Route parts to proper department or storage location
• Label materials and scan shop orders in ERP system
• Prioritize workload with available resources
• Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure team compliance
• Protect company reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks
• Contribute to team efforts and projects as needed

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Set up equipment in accordance with print specifications and work instructions; make adjustments to maintain set-up; perform equipment or machinery set-up including stamping dies, forming dies, machining dies, etc
• Perform daily and/or weekly operator equipment maintenance
• Proficiently operate iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma and other equipment
• Utilize inspection gauges such as dial calipers, protractors, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine appropriate operations to be performed
• Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification
• Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables to load/unload material
• Route parts and components to the proper department or storage location
• Label materials produced and scan shop orders within an ERP system
• Efficiently prioritize workload and use of available resources with time constraints
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• No minimum education required

The pay range for this position is $18.41 - $28.62/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
