Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, Michigan is seeking a materials handler/inventory associate to maintain organization, move materials, and support job sites. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, manage inventory, and ensure accurate shipping of materials.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A safety-focused team environment with opportunities for training is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions; self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Load and unload work vehicles daily.
• Organize, count, and stock inventory.
• Verify quantity and quality of the received order by comparing invoices to company purchase orders.
• Wrap, pack, and prepare materials for shipping.
• Deliver and retrieve material to and from job sites and/or internal departments.
• Fuel and wash vehicles.
• Assist Foremen and Apprentices on job sites.
• Provide overlap coverage for in other departments as needed.
