Job summary

Morrow Equipment Company is seeking a Shop Electrician in Manassas, Virginia who can service and repair electrical equipment, interpret technical schematics, and support PLCs and VFDs within industrial control systems.

The role requires experience with tower cranes and personnel hoist electrical systems, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to read complex technical documents. On-site work and overtime as needed are part of the job, with a focus on quality and timely task completion.

Qualifications

• 3 years previous experience in industrial electrical and control systems.
• Proficiency in PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives.
• Understanding of European electrical schematics preferred.
• Essential knowledge of tower cranes and personnel hoist electrical systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, including parts and equipment specifications, catalogs, manuals, etc.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of electrical equipment and accessories for Morrow Equipment Company.
• Provides technical guidance to coworkers and customers related to electrical applications.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers and vendors.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of required paperwork.
