Job summary

Morrow Equipment Company is seeking a skilled Tower Crane and Personnel Hoist Service Technician to support major construction projects. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical background, safety-first mindset, and ability to work at height in outdoor environments.

Weekend work is required, with responsibilities including inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of cranes and hoists. You will diagnose issues, perform scheduled service, assist in installation, and uphold

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of 480-volt three-phase electrical control systems.
• Experience with PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs) is preferred.
• Commitment to safety standards, procedures, and professional work practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair tower cranes and personnel hoists.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform scheduled service.
• Assist in installation of cranes and hoists; ensure safe operation and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with team, customers and vendors in a professional manner.
• Adhere to company safety rules and site-specific safety plans.
