Job summary

Drape Kings is seeking a skilled Sewist to produce high-quality drapery and fabric products in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role requires strong sewing skills, accuracy, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating industrial sewing equipment, measuring and finishing fabric items, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Overtime may be required as production demands dictate, with room for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sewing experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow specs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing equipment, including straight stitch and overlock.
• Measure, cut, sew, and finish fabric products according to work orders and specifications.
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship.
• Follow instructions and drawings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with fabric handling, material organization, and inventory as needed.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Support team members and assist with other fabrication tasks as assigned.
