Qualifications

• Repair linens and uniforms; alter as needed.
• Issue uniforms to employees per VA/hospital policies.
• Maintain accuracy of uniform inventory and records.

Responsabilités

• Maintain uniform inventory cards and provide records to supervisor.
• Sort and hang clean uniforms; manage Uniform Exchange Room.
• Inspect linen and uniforms; perform repairs as needed.
• Estimate supplies and materials for sewing operations; communicate needs to supervisor.
• Fabricate special items for patient care (oversized garments, restraints).
• Adjust sewing machinery; ensure a clean, sanitary work area.
• Provide relief in the laundry production area when necessary.
