Alliance Industrial Solutions is hiring Industrial Sewing Machine Operators for a full-time, on-site role in Youngstown, OH. The facility produces decorative pillows in a climate-controlled environment. Training will cover the plant's industrial sewing processes and equipment.

The position offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule, weekly pay, and potential union membership after 90 days. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with a raise to $16.50 after union conversion; benefits are available

Qualifications

• Previous sewing experience is required.
• Industrial sewing and home-sewing experience will be considered.
• Ability to pass a sewing test after completing 30 days of training.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet production goals consistently.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to close pillow openings after filling.
• Perform minor repairs, including fixing tears, holes, and open seams.
• Trim excess threads for a clean, finished product.
• Inspect pillows for dirt, tears, missing buttons, and other quality issues.
• Make corrections when needed.
• Close zippers and remove zipper handles with pliers when required.
• Pack and box completed pillows for shipment.
• Meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and report broken needle pieces or machine malfunctions.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
