Job summary

Commercial Employees is filling multiple Machine Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows. 1st/2nd Shift Available.

These roles follow a 2-2-3 schedule: about 14 days per month, with overtime every other week and weekends off as described. Training and safety are emphasized, and insurance options are provided where offered.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Lift up to 35 pounds and perform basic math.
• 12-hour shift schedules with specified pay rates.

Responsibilities

• Operate single needle sewing machines.
• Fill pillow shells with fiber and place on conveyor.
• Check pillow weight and replace needles.
• Ensure safety in handling all equipment and property.
• Experience as an Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer helpful, but not required.

These Machine Operator positions require a 2-2-3 work schedule. The benefits of this schedule are only working 14 days a month, every other week you get OT, and every other week you have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!

Machine Operator Duties:

• Operatesingle needle sewing machines
• You willfillpillowshellswith fiber, placethe pillow on the conveyorand checkpillowweight
• Responsible forreplacingneedlesand re-threading machines
• Safetyis a priority. All employees are responsible for careful and safe use of allequipment and property.
• Experience as anIndustrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroidererhelpful,but not required

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift
• Must be able to lift 35pounds& basic math skills
• 12-hour shifts: 6a - 6p @ $15.05 per hour – weekly pay
• 6pm-6am @ $16.05 per hour - weekly pay
