Adecco is seeking a dependable Industrial Sewer in Muskego, WI to operate single and double needle sewing machines, assembling vinyl and heavy fabrics for industrial products. This temp-to-hire role requires 6–12 months of sewing experience and the ability to follow production work orders with precision.

The position offers a stable 1st shift schedule, starting pay $19.00 per hour, with potential increase upon conversion.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of sewing experience required.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred.
• Ability to read and follow sewing instructions and production work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate single and double needle industrial sewing machines to sew vinyl and fabrics.
• Review work orders and verify materials, colors, and quantities prior to production.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure correct dimensions and quality standards.
• Lay out and position materials accurately according to guide marks and instructions.
• Attach components such as logos, pleats, pockets, windows, Velcro, foam, and other fabric elements.
• Change thread and bobbins and adjust machine tension to maintain stitching quality.
• Assist with handling and sewing heavier materials when needed.
• Perform finishing tasks such as inserting fiberglass stays and installing grommets using a grommet machine.
• Perform minor machine maintenance including cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles.
• Operate supporting equipment such as punching machines, band saws, and heat sealing machines as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
