Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations, maintaining production tools, fabrication units, and industrial sewing systems used for geotextiles and reinforced vinyl.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance, document service histories, and assist with installation and calibration while ensuring a safe, efficient production floor.

Qualifications

At least three years of hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines.
Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, control, sensor, and servo-drive components.
Experience with industrial sewing machinery for marine fabrics, coated vinyl, canvas, or geotextiles is highly desired.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks on the production floor.

Responsibilities

Perform routine upkeep and corrective repairs for production systems and industrial sewing machinery.
Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control issues to reduce downtime.
Install, calibrate, test, and relocate facility and manufacturing equipment as needed.
Maintain service logs, repair histories, preventive maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
Educate operators on daily maintenance and early troubleshooting.
