Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Industrial Sewer I to operate sewing equipment and assemble PVC into lightweight bellows for protective machine covers. You will read specifications, sew components with various materials, and perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to customer standards.

You will collaborate with team members, follow lean practices, and maintain a safe workspace while supporting production goals and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a ruler and tape measure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret job cards for information specifications.
• Operate sewing machines to meet product dimensions and quality.
• Sew components using various materials, machinery, and hand tools.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks during sewing.
• Collaborate with Team Lead and Supervisors to meet customer specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE as required.
