Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a full-time Industrial Services Tool Repair Technician at our Greensboro, NC facility. You will repair, quote, and turnaround a wide range of power tools, while maintaining ISO quality standards and strong customer communication in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be mechanically inclined, highly motivated, and able to travel for training and customer visits. A flexible schedule may follow onboarding and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude with attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Industrial Services Tool Repair Technician, you will be involved with the overall success of the department by efficiently repairing and quoting a wide range of power tools, including Electric, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic. You will be working on a variety of tool manufacturers, including most major national brands. Having a customer focus and attention to detail in a very fast paced and productive department is necessary to be successful in this position. Some travel may be necessary to complete manufacturer-authorized training. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
