Job summary

Fastenal's Greensboro, NC facility is seeking a Part-time Industrial Services Light Manufacturing Fabricator to support the manufacturing department. You will cut chain, cable, threaded rod and perform light assembly while maintaining a strong focus on customer service in a fast-paced production environment.

You will also pick and package products, inspect overhead lifting chain slings and hoses, use calibrated measuring tools, and work with saws, cutters and crimpers to complete jobs.

Qualifications

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-time Industrial Services Light Manufacturing Fabricator, you will be involved with the overall success of this department by efficiently producing finished products for Fastenal's customers. You will be cutting chain, cable, threaded rod and working on various light assembly jobs. This position would also consist of picking and packaging product. Having a willingness to learn, the ability to be trained on various pieces of mechanical equipment, while maintaining a high level of customer service in a fast-paced production environment is necessary to be successful in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspecting and manufacturing overhead lifting chain slings, hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, and custom wire cable assemblies

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior warehouse and forklift experience
• Knowledge of calibrated measuring equipment
