Job summary

Nestlé USA in Ohio is seeking a skilled boiler/hvac technician to operate, maintain and repair boilers, ammonia refrigeration and related utility equipment. You will monitor system performance, adjust gauges, and ensure uninterrupted production while following GMPs and safety rules.

The role requires licensing, experience with refrigeration and electrical controls, and a willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift with overtime.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio boiler operator license or third class stationary engineer required.
• Experience with boilers, refrigeration, HVAC and utility systems preferred.
• EPA refrigerant recovery certification preferred.
• HAZMAT training preferred (will train).
• Must observe GMPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair boilers, ammonia refrigeration and HVAC utility equipment.
• Start systems and monitor operation; read gauges and control parameters.
• Maintain refrigeration, steam, treated water and glycol systems.
• Respond to refrigeration-related production emergencies on the floor.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; pipefitting and plumbing as needed.
• Ensure continued production and safety; adhere to GMPs and safety policies.
