Fastenal, a leading distributor of industrial and construction supplies, seeks a full-time Industrial Services Rigging Fabricator in Indianapolis, IN. You will fabricate custom lifting and rigging products and read prints to design lifting solutions, while adhering to safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacturing wire rope slings and chain slings.
• Cutting and spooling cable.
• Measuring and cutting various cut to length chain assemblies.
• Cutting and crimping non-overhead lifting chain and cable assemblies.
• Reading prints for custom fabricated items.
• Understanding customer's lifting needs to design lifting solutions.
• Inspecting all outgoing rigging assemblies.
• Complying with safety regulations.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Industrial Services Rigging Fabricator, you will fabricate custom lifting and rigging products using wire rope or chain, cutting, crimping, swaging, spooling, and testing equipment. You will also use manual tools and equipment to complete the manufacturing process. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manufacturing wire rope slings and chain slings
• Cutting and spooling cable
• Measuring and cutting various cut to length chain assemblies
• Cutting and crimping non-overhead lifting chain and cable assemblies
• Reading prints for custom fabricated items
• Understanding customer's lifting needs to design lifting solutions
