Job summary

frēijē Engineered Solutions Company is seeking a driven Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial service projects from turnover to closeout. You will own scope, schedule, costs, and customer communications, coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors to ensure profitability and timely billing.

You will review proposals, manage risks, and drive change orders while maintaining strong relations with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred
• 3–7 years of relevant commercial/industrial service or project management experience required
• Experience managing labor, materials, subcontractors, schedules, job costs, and customer commitments
• Experience with job costing, WIP, project financials, change orders, billing, and closeout preferred
• Service management or ERP system experience required
• Ability to read project scopes, estimates, proposals, drawings, specs, and related docs
• Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned commercial and industrial service projects from turnover through completion and closeout
• Review scope, estimates, proposals, labor assumptions, materials, schedule, and risks before work begins
• Develop and maintain project plans, coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Own financial performance including budget, costs, and profitability
• Monitor performance vs. budget and take action to address variances
• Identify and price scope changes and ensure proper billing
• Maintain project information in business systems (costs, forecasts, billing, closeout)
• Serve as primary customer contact for assigned projects
• Ensure timely documentation and closeout, including billing support
• Drive timely billing and project closeout; finalize review and lessons learned
