Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Architect (Industrial Architecture) to lead teams of architects, engineers, and project managers in designing and delivering complex industrial facilities, from data centers to water treatment plants, across multiple markets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture, 10+ years, licensure, Revit proficiency, and strong communication; preferred Masters, LEED, and prior leadership experience in a collaboration-focused, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
• Minimum 10 years experience
• Licensed/Registered Architect
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading teams and facilitating meetings with stakeholders
• Knowledge of codes and planning skills
• Participation in employee-owned culture

Responsibilities

• Lead owner/client and internal meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
• Lead project teams to deliver construction documents and milestone deliverables
• Coordinate work of multidisciplinary team through all project phases
• Manage scope and schedule with Project Manager
• Produce detailed construction documents and specifications
• Provide construction observation and contract administration as needed
• Conduct site work sessions with Client Representatives and other disciplines
• Perform QA/QC and cross-discipline technical reviews
