Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a global leader in workforce solutions, seeks a Product Security Test Engineer in Milwaukee, WI. You will design, develop, and maintain security test automation to support CI/DevOps for product development.

The role requires a bachelor's in a related field, hands-on security testing, and experience with Burp Suite, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nmap; offers hybrid schedule and competitive hourly pay of $50-60/hr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Python scripting, networking, Windows/Linux environments, and software development fundamentals.
• Knowledge of application security testing, penetration testing methodologies, and security tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nmap, or similar.
• Experience with C++, DevOps/CI environments, reverse engineering, fuzz testing, or industrial protocols (CIP, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet) is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain security test automation to support CI/DevOps product development.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security research on industrial automation products.
• Conduct penetration testing, fuzz testing, protocol analysis, and security validation to identify product vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product security and support secure software development.
• Document security findings, recommend remediation strategies, and stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.
