Job summary

RTX is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to join the Cambridge, MA team. You will develop, administer and maintain a comprehensive security program in line with NISPOM and DoD requirements, including COMSEC management and regulatory compliance.

As part of the Industrial Security group, you will work onsite in Cambridge, contribute to audits, policy creation, and security education while coordinating with government and external partners to ensure robust protection of classified

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of 32 CFR 117, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) and ISLs.
• Experience processing classified shipments and maintaining accountability of classified assets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to work in a team.
• Current Secret Clearance required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Maintain classified document control, accountability, and shipment records.
• Support visitor access, personnel security, employee briefings, and security education.
• Prepare for and participate in security audits, inspections, and inquiries.
• Develop and maintain security policies, SOPs, OPSEC plans, and procedures.
• Manage COMSEC equipment, materials, key management, records and compliance.
• Conduct COMSEC audits and support incident response and reporting.
• Provide COMSEC training and guidance to personnel.
• Coordinate with government and external organizations on security and COMSEC requirements.
