Job summary

Elbit America, Inc. seeks an Industrial Security Specialist II to support the Facility Security Officer in Roanoke, VA. The role helps maintain the security posture in line with DoD and ITAR requirements and to manage personnel and visitor access, records, and communications across the site.

Responsibilities include overseeing background checks, guarding services, and compliance programs. The position involves reporting to the Security Office and collaborating with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in a related field.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Security knowledge or background.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and managers.
• Experience with security audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage identification for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Provide and manage guard services to protect the facility.
• Maintain DoD/ITAR compliance and DD254 records.
• Support industrial security programs and government regulations.
• Oversee background/reference checks and investigations.
• Prepare quarterly reports to the Government Security Committee.
• Attend site inspections and trainings.
