Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist II in Hollins, Virginia, to support the Facility Security Officer in maintaining the company’s security posture. You will ensure compliance with DoD/NISPOM and ITAR requirements while overseeing internal security programs and personnel investigations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in industrial security or related field.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Specific degree field: Industrial Security.
• Familiar with DoD/NISPOM and ITAR requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with site staff and managers.
• Initiate and complete special security projects.
• Ability to implement company-wide security policies and procedures.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive security audits.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage identification system for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Provide and manage guard services to protect the facility.
• Maintain security requirements supporting DoD Classified Contracts and DD254 records.
• Support industrial security programs to ensure government compliance.
• Provide written and oral communication to site staff about security requirements.
• Oversee background/reference checks on employees.
• Participate in investigations involving fraud, theft, espionage, or misconduct.
• Review classified contracts to ensure government guidance is followed.
• Maintain the Company Security Manual and standard security practices.
• Assist with visit requests and contact reports per agreements.
• Provide quarterly reports to Government Security Committee.
• Attend site inspections and training development.
