Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist/AFSO to manage DoD/IC security requirements and protect classified programs in a fast‑paced environment. You will oversee personnel security actions, maintain our facility clearance, and ensure adherence to NISPOM and ICDs.

The role is fully onsite at our Mountain View, CA office five days a week, reporting to the Senior Security Manager. Ideal candidates have active TS/SCI potential, DISS/NISS experience, and strong program security

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with DoD/IC programs and NISPOM.
• Familiarity with DISS/NISS and classification management.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day AFSO duties for the DoD Facility Clearance.
• Administer personnel security actions and visits; interface with DCSA and USG customers.
• Support Program Protection activities for secure payload processing and program infrastructure.
• Contribute to the Insider Threat Program and investigations.
• Deliver security education and training, indoctrinations and annual refreshers.
• Draft and enforce SPPS, EAPs, and program security guidance.
• Review and track DD-254s for contracts and subcontracts.
• Prepare for DCSA security reviews and self-inspections.
• Operate facility badging, access controls, alarms, and visitor management.
• Coordinate COMSEC activities with the custodian.
