Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Security Specialist to implement approved security plans and oversee badges, access, and records for Hawthorne Army Depot. The role supports industrial security, visitor management, clearance processing, and confidential material controls on a government and company basis.

You will work to ensure compliance with DoD/NISP requirements, assist with credentialing, and coordinate security activities with contractors and personnel at the depot.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in security or related experience.
• Security Specialist certification required or must be obtained.
• Nevada driver’s license required.
• PILB registration or license required.
• Must obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance per DoD rules.
• Ability to issue badges, passes, decals and related records.
• Support access requirements including clearance processing.
• Knowledge of industrial and physical security principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and security systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Security Chief in developing plans and procedures and implement Depot Protection Plan materials.
• Issue temporary and permanent badges, vehicle passes, and decals; brief personnel on access requirements.
• Support DoD and NISP requirements and process employee security clearances.
• Register pets, weapons, and recreational permits; issue related records and keys.
• Debrief cleared employees on termination; assist with NCIC III screening and secure access.
• Report safety, environmental, security concerns; maintain confidentiality and ethics.
