Job summary

Varda Space Industries seeks an Industrial and Personnel Security Manager to own day-to-day security compliance for industrial and personnel programs. The role collaborates with HR, IT, Legal, and Engineering from early customer engagement through launch, maintaining readiness and accuracy in security documentation.

You will report to the Director of Security, supporting SCI nominations, polygraph scheduling, and program access requests, with potential as Alternate FSO after training.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in industrial security with DoD/IC contractor experience.
• Ownership of clearance actions, reporting, training, and inspections.
• Strong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and related forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial security program operations and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with HR, IT, Legal, and Contracts to drive security requirements.
• Manage clearances, documentation, and government correspondence for FSO review.
• Prepare for government and customer assessments and maintain readiness.
