Job summary

Cribl, a remote-first B2B SaaS data observability company, is seeking a Facility Security Officer to lead Cribl's industrial security program for federal business. You will own the Facility Clearance (FCL) program, manage DCSA relations, and guide security processes across Legal, People Ops, Contracts, and IT.

You will need 7+ years in security, including 3+ years as an appointed FSO, with strong knowledge of NISPOM and DCSA systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial‑ or personnel‑security experience.
• 3+ years as an appointed FSO or Assistant FSO at a cleared contractor.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and the NISPOM.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCL sponsorship and maintenance in NISS, including SF-328, KMP designations, changed conditions, and FOCI reporting.
• Manage the cleared-personnel lifecycle in DISS/NBIS, including sponsorship, investigations, reinvestigations, continuous vetting, transfers, debriefings, and terminations.
• Guide applicants through eApp and maintain accurate, confidential personnel-security records.
• Deliver initial, annual, insider-threat, foreign-travel, and other required security briefings.
• Review and maintain DD Form 254s, process visit authorizations, and advise Contracts and Legal on security requirements before commitments.
• Conduct annual self-inspections, prepare required certifications and reports, maintain corrective actions, and lead preparation for DCSA Security Reviews.
• Serve as Cribl's primary point of contact with DCSA and the trusted advisor to executives and cross-functional teams on government security requirements.
• Partner with Workplace and Facilities on access control, visitor management, secure-area requirements, and other facility controls applicable to cleared work.
