Cribl, a remote-first B2B SAAS data observability company, is hiring a Facility Security Officer to build and manage our industrial‑security program as the federal business grows. You will serve as Cribl's FSO with the DCSA, own the Facility Clearance, and support NISPOM and 32 CFR Part 117 compliance.

This role collaborates with Legal, People Ops, Contracts, IT, Workplace, and Security & Compliance to implement policies, conduct self‑inspections, and prepare certifications. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and an active Government Secret clearance.
• 7+ years in industrial- or personnel-security.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and the NISPOM.
• Hands-on experience with DISS/NBIS, NISS, eApp, FCL processing, SF-328/FOCI, DD Form 254s.
• Completion of DCSA/CDSE FSO curriculum (STEPP) or ability to complete within six months.
• Experience standing up a security program or taking a facility through an initial FCL.
• Strong writing, communication, organization, discretion, and judgment.
• Ability to work across a distributed, remote-first organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cribl's industrial-security program and partner with Legal, People Ops, Contracts, IT, Workplace, and Security & Compliance.
• Manage FCL sponsorship and maintenance in NISS; handle investigations and reinvestigations.
• Deliver security briefings and maintain confidential security records.
• Ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program and 32 CFR Part 117; coordinate DCSA reviews.
• Serve as Cribl's primary contact with DCSA and advise leadership on government security requirements.
