AEVEX, headquartered in Solana Beach, California, is seeking an onsite Facility Security Officer (FSO) in Florida. This role oversees the company’s industrial security program, ensuring compliance with NISPOM and DoD requirements, and advises leadership on security risks and corrective actions.

You will manage personnel security, training, records, and reporting, while coordinating visits and information transfers to protect classified information.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD security requirements
• Experience with security training, personnel security, and incident reporting
• Ability to prepare for and support DCSA inspections and assessments
• Familiarity with DoD security policies and SEADs
• Proficient in documenting security processes and procedures
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams to safeguard classified information

Aufgaben

• Administer and maintain the facility security program per NISPOM and government requirements
• Advise management on industrial security risks, vulnerabilities, and corrective actions
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and standard practice instructions
• Protect classified information against unauthorized access, loss, or compromise
• Manage personnel security: clearances, access, NDAs, briefings, debriefings
• Coordinate classified visits, information transfers, and security-related activities
• Prepare for DCSA reviews and other government engagements
• Maintain and report security incidents and required records
