The position pays $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, responding to alarms, preparing incident reports, and coordinating with emergency services when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Patrol industrial premises to prevent intrusion and secure doors, windows, and gates.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and control entry/exit of employees, visitors, and others to prevent theft.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Call police or fire departments in emergencies.
• Answer phone calls and relay messages during non-business hours.
• Warn others of infractions and involve management.
• Conduct random checks and prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
• Inspect security systems and equipment for tampering.
• Inspect trailers parked on-site.
• Authorize and check in trucks, and check trucks leaving premises.
