Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Sector in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst Level 3 or 4 to join our security team. You will ensure security compliance with government and company rules and administer programs for classified or proprietary materials and equipment.

In this role you will author CONOPS, manage security operations across DoD facilities, PERSEC, COMSEC, OPSEC, and related areas, and deliver security updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with in-scope investigation completed within the last 5 years or CE program
• Bachelor's / Master's / PhD with corresponding years of experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); ICD; DoD Manuals and related security requirements
• Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Desktop Computers and Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Support a fast-paced, high-profile program; creating, maintaining, and leveraging working relationships with internal and external customers
• Author clear, comprehensive CONOPS documents for a variety of security initiatives
• Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions, including DoD facility administration, PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, OPSEC, Contract Security, SETA, Investigations, Visitor Control, and Document Control Management
• Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders with security updates
• Study and implement company and federal security policies, regulations, and procedures that apply to company operations
• Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
• Develop and implement security education programs. Conduct internal security audits. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
• Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with the DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance
• Assist program managers and professional staff in interpreting, applying, and complying with program Security Classification Guides (SCG)
• Develop and implement OPSEC/ Program protection plans
• Provide personnel security (PERSEC) support including documentation in SCI and SAP nomination processes; maintain PERSEC databases; administer indoctrination/debriefings; manage clearance/access data
• Provide facility security administration, documentation, and support: SOPs; SCI and SAP inspections
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues; provide leadership and direction
• Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
• Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional security experience

Master's degree with 3 years of professional security experience

PhD with 1 year of professional security experience

Additional four years of professional security experience in lieu of a degree
