Job summary

Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is seeking an entry-level Industrial Security Specialist to develop basic analysis, reporting, and vulnerability assessment skills under direct supervision. The position may be filled at GG-07 or GG-09 with progression through developmental benchmarks.

You will identify security vulnerabilities, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders while conducting on-site reviews of contractor facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience using basic-level analysis methods and critical thinking to identify vulnerabilities.
• Ability to compose detailed reports and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Capable of preparing presentations and supporting materials for internal/external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and communicate security program vulnerabilities and mitigations to stakeholders up to the senior executive level.
• Demonstrate analysis methods and professional writing in comprehensive reports and oral presentations.
• Engage internal/external stakeholders with adaptive interpersonal approaches to resolve security issues.
• Under close supervision, conduct recurring Security Reviews of contractor facilities.
• Under close supervision, conduct security violation investigations related to classified information/material.
• Under close supervision, conduct on-site FCL eligibility surveys assessing vulnerabilities as part of risk analysis.
