Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst II / CPSO to support classified programs in the Baltimore area. You will apply federal, contractual, customer, and company security requirements to ensure compliance and maintain a robust, multi‑disciplined security program.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of CPSO or industrial security experience, a Top Secret clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP, ICD 705, ICD 704, and NISPOM.
  • Current Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Preferred: experience with DISS, SIMS, and JADE.

Responsibilities

  • Support fast-paced programs and build stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop and maintain security programs for classified materials.
  • Implement access control, personnel security, physical security, and OPSEC.
  • Apply federal security regulations to company operations.
  • Obtain rulings and deviations to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare manuals for handling, storage, and records access.
  • Conduct security education classes and briefings.
  • Investigate security violations and report preventive actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of DoD/NISPOM sponsor procedures.

Industrial Security Analyst II / CPSO

Relocation assistance: No relocation assistance available.

Clearance required: Yes (Top Secret).

Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.

Overview

The role supports program(s) by applying classified federal, contractual, customer, and company security requirements. The Analyst ensures compliance with applicable regulations and maintains a robust, multi‑disciplined security program.

Responsibilities
  • Support fast‑paced, high‑profile programs and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, administer, and maintain security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Implement access control, personnel security, physical security, and OPSEC measures.
  • Study and apply federal security regulations that affect company operations.
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare manuals and procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records; manage access to restricted records and materials.
  • Conduct security education classes and briefings for personnel and visitors.
  • Investigate security violations and report preventive actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of CPSO, industrial security, or relevant experience; or 4+ years of applicable work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.
  • Current active Top Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DISS, SIMS, and/or JADE.
  • Additional CPSO experience.
Compensation & Benefits

Primary salary range: $72,400 – $108,600. Compensation is determined by scope of the position, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives (for senior leadership). Health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays, and paid time off are also provided.
