Job Role

Industrial Security Analyst 2: develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions including PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations, and Document Control Management. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Essential Job Functions
  • Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems.
  • Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team.
  • Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s).
  • Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
  • Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
  • Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Industrial Security experience or relevant with a Bachelors degree, 0 years with a Masters degree; an additional four years of applicable work may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with in-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PR) completed within the last 5 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, ICD-705, and/or SEAD reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP access
  • Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases.
  • Working knowledge of DoD, SAP, and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance.
  • Additional consideration for CDSE SAP Orientation course or CDSE SAP Mid-Level course.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
