Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Scaffold Laborer in Muscatine, IA to install, repair, and remove insulation on piping, ductwork, and equipment. The role includes assembling/dismantling tubular scaffolding, installing ladders and walkways, and preparing sites by removing debris.

You will load/unload insulation materials, measure and cut insulation for fit, and secure it with tape or fasteners while following safety guidelines. Training provided on sheet metal shaping.

Responsibilities

• Installs and replaces scaffolding and insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to safety guidelines.
• Loads and unloads insulation materials.
• Measures and cuts insulation to fit round pipes and equipment.
• Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, wire, or banding.
• Employees bring necessary tools to site.
• Trained on cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Acts to promote a positive workplace and safety culture.
• Performs other duties as required.
